This week, continue reading to learn more about steps I’ve taken to rein in executive overreach. HOLDING UNELECTED BUREAUCRATS ACCOUNTABLE Over time, Congress has allowed the executive branch to grow virtually unchecked. Regulations—with the effect of law— created by bureaucrats have cost taxpayers trillions, contributing to our out-of-control debt and inflation. This bill would require Congress to approve any new major regulation before it can be enforced by federal agencies. The REINS Act passed the House 221 – 210 in June 2023 and awaits Senate action.
