Fighting for Secure Elections

Dear Fellow Floridian,

As Americans, protecting the integrity on our elections should be our number one priority. This begins with making sure only U.S. citizens can cast the votes that determine the future of our nation. Unfortunately, that is not guaranteed today. 

Recently, there has been thousands of non-citizens removed from voter rolls across the country.  We cannot ignore this threat to our democratic process. I was proud to see my SAVE Act pass the House earlier this summer with bipartisan support, and have been fighting to get it done here in the United States Senate. 

However, Senate Leadership and Democrats are dragging their feet every step of the way. In fact, they’ve ignored the problem since day one of the Biden-Harris administration when “Border Czar” Harris opened the floodgates to allow millions of illegal immigrants into our country. 

We cannot allow anything to undermine the integrity of our elections. That’s why I am demanding that when we pass a continuing resolution to fund the government in September, we include the SAVE Act as part of that funding bill. 

As your United States Senator, I won’t stop fighting to make sure your vote is protected and the Biden-Harris border crisis doesn’t rob your voice at the ballot box.
