Lakeland, 1/24/2023 – If you would have told me at 17 years old, a senior in High School, that my mission in life would be “improving the lives of others through meaningful relationships”; I would have laughed! However, God has been good and blessed my wife, Tonya, and I with the “gifts” necessary to have a positive impact on our community. Through our life’s journey together, we have also learned the importance of “Trust” through “Truth” and “Accountability.”

My purpose in running for Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) Chair of the State Committeemen/State Committeewomen (SCM/SCW) Caucus is NOT about ME! I am NOT interested in adding to my accomplishments on my resume. I am NOT interested in being the “figurehead” facilitating the SCM/SCW Caucus meeting at the RPOF quarterly or annual meetings.

My purpose for becoming your next Chair of the RPOF SCM/SCW Caucus is to be active and provide leadership according to the RPOF loyalty oath. We have a problem within the RPOF, and the problem is RPOF Charter Clubs, their elected officers and members going rogue and supporting liberal candidates; a blatant violation of the RPOF loyalty oath. This is happening in partisan and non-partisan elections through financial contributions and social media.

As Chair, my purpose and focus for the next two years will be “Trust” through “Truth” and “Accountability.” As Chair, I will lead efforts to amend the RPOF Party Rules of Procedure to hold RPOF Charter Clubs, elected officers and their members “accountable” to the RPOF Loyalty Oath. In addition, clear consequences need to be identified and implemented when the RPOF Loyalty Oath is blatantly violated.

This effort will be accomplished by organizing a strategic state-wide team to provide support and training (truth) to our RPOF Charter Clubs, their elected officers and members (trust).
