Lake Ashton Republican Club

January 25 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

The LARC will be installing a new Board at the January 25, 2023 meeting. We’ve received four nominations, which we will profile here for your information.

The current Board was installed under the old bylaws, which provided for a one-year term for all. Our new bylaws provide for a two-year term, so the new Board will be installed for a longer timer, providing more continuity.

I’ll see you at the LA Clubhouse on Wednesday, January 25 at 3:30 for Social time and check-in, with the Election Meeting starting at 4:00 p.m.

Her real-life work includes that as an advertising and marketing executive, sales executive, retail store manager, plus serving on direct marketing boards for many years. She has been an integral part of the LARC 2022 Board, planning and executing the meetings and events as well as documenting the meetings and writing the member emails.

Linda Sandel has been nominated to serve as Secretary. Linda has been a LA resident for three years, moving here from Minnesota, where she was a sales professional for Sprint for the last 15 years of her career. Passionate about politics, and willing to put in the hours it takes to make a change happen, Linda works at the local level with the Concerned Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF) as the Winter Haven City Coordinator. She was integral in leading the LARC adoption of Thompson Nursery Road, and heads the successful quarterly clean-ups for Polk County. Brenda Jackson is the nominee for Treasurer. She moved to LA in May of 2021 and has been actively involved in LARC, as well as the Restaurant Selection Group. She has been a member of various Boards, advocating for the traditional values we all hold dear.
