Annual Polk County Legislative Delegation Meeting

The annual Polk County Legislative Delegation Meeting is coming up on Friday, January 13th at 1:30 pm at the Polk State College Center for Public Safety at 1251 Jim Keene Blvd, Winter Haven, 33880 (off Winter Lake Road – part of the Sheriff’s Complex).  We need Polk County REC members to attend and address the delegation before they start their 2023 session. 

FOLLOWING ARE THE CURRENT DELEGATION MEMBERS AND CONTACT INFO:

This annual public meeting is an opportunity for citizens, elected officials, local governments, and other organizations to address the Delegation before the start of the 2023 Legislative Session. If you would like to speak, please fill out and submit this form: Polk Del Speaker Form no later than 5 pm on Friday, January 7th. 

Public comment cards will also be available on the day of the meeting affording you time to speak. Those completing a card at the meeting will be heard in the order in which the card is received.

At the meeting, speakers are called in the order the forms are submitted, so please get them in as quickly as possible. Speaking time is limited to 3 minutes per person, so please rehearse before the meeting. If you intend to submit handouts for the legislators to review and do not submit them in advance, you will need to bring ten (10) copies to the meeting for distribution.
