Fighting Back Against Online Child Exploitation
This week, my bipartisan bill combatting online child exploitation, the REPORT Act, unanimously passed out of the House and now heads to the President’s desk. The REPORT Act will fight against the exploitation of children online by strengthening existing reporting procedures and requiring companies to disclose crimes involving child sexual abuse to NCMEC, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. I am happy that my colleagues in both the House and Senate passed this crucial piece of legislation that will help law enforcement quickly identify, investigate, and prosecute perpetrators to protect our children from threats online.

Hillsborough County Schools Going Above and Beyond
The US News and World Report recently recognized Hillsborough County public high schools among the best in the state and nation—a remarkable achievement for Florida’s 15th District. It is evident that Hillsborough County Public Schools are committed to providing high-quality education and preparing students for their next chapter of life.
In honor of National Teacher Day, which was observed this week, I recognized Hillsborough County’s wonderful teachers, administrators, and faculty members on the House floor.

House Republicans Stand with Israel
Lately, antisemitism has erupted on college campuses throughout the United States, and many universities are refusing to take accountability. To demonstrate our unwavering support for Israel and Jewish Americans, my House Republican colleagues and I passed the Antisemitism Awareness Act this week. This bill takes important steps towards cracking down on antisemitism throughout campuses in the U.S. Universities should be able to safeguard free speech while simultaneously protecting their Jewish students. I will continue to reaffirm my support for our ally, Israel, and all Jewish students throughout the nation.

Protecting Law and Order in America
This week, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance held a hearing examining federal statutory and regulatory crimes. Over time, the expansion of the criminal code regarding federal and regulatory crimes has led to unintended consequences for American citizens.
It is important that the American people have trust in the integrity of our judicial system. As a former prosecutor, I know the critical role prosecutors have in upholding fairness and justice. The Committee heard from several witnesses regarding the consequences of misuse and manipulation of the judicial system. My House Republican colleagues and I are committed to ensuring our criminal code and judicial system are used to preserve law and order within our nation.
