Local First Responders Keeping Our Community Safe
Last week, Tropical Storm Debby made its way through Florida bringing torrential rainfall and dangerous storm surges to our community. Our brave first responders were working hard behind the scenes to keep our community safe from the hazardous weather. I visited with our Hillsborough County Fire Rescue team to get a glimpse into how they keep our community safe and informed during emergencies. Thank you all for your dedication to keeping our community and families safe each and every day—especially in dangerous weather conditions and other emergency events.
Floridians know all too well how quickly storms can form and intensify, especially during hurricane season. It is important to prepare early and be ready for whatever comes your way. You can find my 2024 Comprehensive Disaster Resource Guide here and a list of resources on my website . As your Representative in Congress, I will always keep you informed and ensure you have the tools and information to keep your family and home safe. As always, please reach out to my team if we can be of any assistance to you or your loved ones.

Feeding Florida, our Nation, and the World
Agriculture is a cornerstone of our community here in Florida’s 15th District. Agricultural businesses have long been one of the main drivers of our local and national economy, and I am always impressed by the hardworking farmers and growers that keep food on Americans’ tables every day.
I recently had the opportunity to tour two of our very own Plant City agribusinesses—Astin Farms and Keel Farms. It was great to get a look at the work that goes into producing clean, fresh, and local foods. Thank you for the work you do to ensure Floridians have fresh choices to feed our families and for keeping our nation’s food supply strong and resilient.
